Welcome to my website on Iranian postal history. My name is Masoud Valafar and I focus (mostly) on the postal history of Iran from 1909 to 1925, during the reign of Ahmad Shah. This period, when Iran was known as Persia, was marked by significant turbulence, which is reflected in the postal services of the time.
